Located on the Crescent Moon of Minastra (one of two moons that orbit the planet Eonid within the Iris Nebula). It is located there as a waypoint between the planet and the cosmic duties of newly recruited Starlings and Fallen Starling (who are created by Aurora on the same small chunk of moon rock in the North-West of the Crescent City)

Starlings (and Fallen Starling) attend the Academy to learn first year stuff about being a Starling (Using their Starfyre to see constellation lines, Using their Needle and Scissors to make lines to other stars in order to complete a Constellation, using their Element and Starfyre to activate a Constellation, How to Archive a Constellation, Map making, and Filing.)

After the first year, a Starling graduates with a ceremony. Haraleah Moonshine  crafts them their new Astralux (their two base weapons combined into one)

After the weapon is forged, the Starling can use their Starfyre to separate the weapons or combine them again, at will.

Because of Eonid and the soul system being connected to nature spirits, some Starlings can acquire a MUSE, or familiar. This isn't required, but an option! There are some classes centered around the animal spirits or Mystical and Unstable Spirit Essence aka MUSE.

After their first year, Starlings spend some time making Constellations for the archives and experience, before coming back to attend the Academy again to learn new Classes they can Evolve into.

A Starling can master up to 4 Classes (known and unknown) and 4 Elements (based on the current element base for their system.)

Some Starlings will combine classes to make new ones, others will only identify as one class but have access to the others and can evolve into them based on the duty/job they're needed for.

Setting: The Academy rests on a chunk of the moon of Minastra. It is only one section of the main area called Crescent City which is located on a huge chunk of the moon that was blown loose when Aurora crashed through it.

It is also connected, by a bridge ,to the Starling Dorms next to it on a different chunk of moon.

 Buildings:
  • Main Entrance / Welcoming Center

 Core Academic Building
  • Hall of Ascension: A sacred ceremonial building where initial Orientation and Graduations take place.
  • The Aetherium Spire: The central tower of the academy, it is used for advanced magic theory, celestial law, Starling Classes 101, and Pleiades 101
  • Study Hall
  • Sanctum of Arcane Harmonies: Classrooms dedicated to spell-weaving, resonance magic, and Siren specific Classes.
  • The Astral Observatory: A rotating, open platform, with telescopes that can view Gaia and the Pleiades. Some are being attuned to find other inhabitable worlds.

 Moonlit Ward
  • The Starforge Pavilion: Run by @Haraleah , this area is a smithy where enchanted metals and star-infused weapons are created with Starfyre for Starlings.
  • The Prismarium: A crystaline structure used for attuning Starlings to their new classes via their birthstone/or a chosen stone. It is also where these stones can be fitted into jewelry or items of clothing as decoration.
  • Tailors Terrace: Where uniforms are designed, created, and tested. Starlings come here for base uniforms or to have their uniform altered to make it more unique to the Starling.
  • Starlace Enclave: Where Starlings come to repair their needle and scissors and where cloth, leather, and metal are crafted for the Tailors and Forge.

  • Hall of Constellations: A grand lecture hall with a ceiling that rotates through different constellations mapped by Starlings and can be found within the Archives. This is used for Divination Classes and Nightgazer courses.
  • Vault of Fallen Stars: (ran by Miralina) Forbidden spells and fragments of stars left behind from a supernova.
  • The Luminarch Library: this Library includes tomes and scrolls replicated from the Pleiades and Gaia.  The Floors float independently, accessibly by flight.

Moonstone Shoppes: This chunk of moon is home to the different shops, restaurants, and booths Starlings might need to frequent in order to find class materials or to relax.

The Floating Forests: This is where both aerial training and the Harpy can be found. The Harpy live there within the trees in elaborate treehouse nests, and they will also assist with flying courses.
  • Other known features: The Gardens of Perpetual Dawn Floating gardens with luminous flora, healing fountains, and drifting pollen used in alchemy.

The Starling Archives and Battlegrounds: The Starling Archives: due to their distance from the Pleiades and the issues using the unpredictability of the Mists when trying to return, a new archive has been created with duplicates from the Pleiades and new entries from Eonid. These are all shared between the two realms. Battlegrounds and Training Courses: an area set up with different scenarios and magical barriers that prevent fatalities.
  • Cloudbound Coliseum
An arena formed of condensed cloudstone, used for magical duels, ritual sparring, and ceremonial trials.
  • The Windcallers’ Court
Open terraces where students learn weather shaping, wind magic, and storm navigation.
