STARLINGS : Disclaimer and Notice!

STARLINGS are an open species! My intention when I created them was for people to play in my universe, but also be able to recreate the character in others! With their Starfallen visages, and powers, I had hoped others would feel like they could work in my universe while still being able to convert them over to others! Everything is open, but there are some things that are canon based on what im making for the story/lore, but that doesn't mean you can't run with it and have fun! I WANT you to create your own and explore the ideas and machinations i've come up with to inspire you to do your own stories, art, and more! Also note: Anyone can come up with their own class! The ones I create are simply a blueprint! I'd love for more people to "discover" new ones! If allowed, those could become canon too! :D

You can create your own or adopt from me!
Even if you adopt from me, you can change your adopt however you please and even reshape it to fit in other worlds/settings/games!
You're welcome to create your own classes! What i've made are considered blueprints! Though your class might not be "canon", if you decide to share it, it could be!
Even with the rules on MUSES and the Astralux weapons, you're welcome to explore and experiment!
Starlings can be ANY gender!! I only do ladies cause im bias lol. I also have so many bases for individual classes for the "dolls" they're all female gender, but can be converted to ANY gender by the adoptee whenever they want or if they want! Gender is not a barrier! If you want to create your own, any and all genders are welcome

Originating from the Pleiades, these elves have all been blessed by the stars themselves; The 7 Sisters.

Oracles on their home-world Atlantis, these celestial elves ascended from the Pleiades, would be named Starlings.

They would be tasked by Eris to map the cosmos. Each Sister of the Pleiades brings with her a different blessing, but all Starlings were granted the ability to see the lines between constellations. It was the basis of constellations that they made their maps.

As Celestial Mapmakers to start, their role would evolve, along with the discovery of what all their powers could do.

On winged feet they sped through the celestial space leaving cosmic dust and starfyre. The much larger wings on their backs were similar to that of a Starling bird. Black/Darker Colors and speckled like an egg on top, and white as starlight on the underside. Their wings were sprinkled with stardust, and trailed behind in their wake of starfyre, sometimes catching fire again.

Initially cosmic cartographers, their role evolved as they encountered diverse beings.

Starlings bond with a special star that holds a Celestrix. This bond gives them wings to travel and the ability to make their starfyre into a thread that connects the stars to make Constellations. They can also see the feint lines connecting the stars before becoming constellations! These are then mapped and brought back to Atlantis for archival purposes.

Starlings / Fallen Starling / Starfallen / Kindred
*Starlings - transform through a sacred bond with a star, which reveals their heart for their celestial journey.

*Fallen Starlings- deriving power from falling stars, possess similar abilities but are considered "dolls" in that they are dark matter and nebulae on the inside.

*Starfallen - Elves born on Eonid OR Disguises Starlings use on other planets/realms

*Kindred - Starling Elves with animal attributes and markings

Classes

:First Tier:

Nightgazers find the falling star in the sky at a babys' birth, and finds their constellation aka their Zodiac, as well as their favored Pleiades (this is allowed to change through out the elfs' life)

Emissary act as mediators, knights, and diplomats to new kingdoms AND new worlds

Rangers take roles such as a Hunters and Scouts and other classes that are more solitary and might involve their MUSE as well. Rangers favor the animals like Hunters would. This class is meant to be animal focused along with stealth through camouflaged.

Oracle take roles such as a Priestess, High Priestess, Seer, Diviner and Dreamer. They're magic and elements tend to focus on a specific Pleiades or Astrid Starling of their choosing. Oracles originated from the Pleiades as a Class/Job.

:Tier 2:

Valkyrie escort souls from Eonid to Sollux for reincarnation. They also serve on other planets but in compliance with the established soul system.

Angelust Starlings who had been blessed by Eris and Sire, wield the powers in a bad way, and so they force Eris and Sire to take the powers back, but do not leave them powerless. Her head wings cover her eyes as she refuses to witness her own sins. Only until she does so, can she evolve into something with all her emotions connected, or...not (See Unchained Class)

Every emotion, save for desire, appears outside of her body like a ghost. It can display in different ways, but it's usually an emotion ghost that highlights any of the other emotions.
They're usually depicted in a more "monster"-like visage and much larger than the Starling, or however the Starcatcher defines "monster".

Regular Starlings and Fallen Starlings can become an Angelust as an "upgrade" and it's usually a Matron Class or Mother-Matron Class and their "devotion". They see this new Class as the ultimate devotion of Sire and Eris.

Daemoania are Starlings in a Dominatrix sort of postion. Commanding and Sensual. Daemoania looks and sounds corrupted or evil but is more of an anti-hero and not easy to swallow for everyone but still "likeable" (and my personal part of her at least is that she has high charm and charisma and persuasion to use official terms but outside of those, she is likeable in the sense that she is not the scary bloodthirsty demon trying to sex everyone up that people may imagine)

Matron Starlings take roles that support and care for others whether that be spiritually, physically or emotionally. Some might call them maids, others might call them Matrons as they are "motherly" in how they take care of those they're in charge of.

:Tier 3:

Fairy Starling like to isolate themselves from most other starlings and keep to themselves and their fellow fairies, they do occasionally interact and trade with others to keep up with the rest of the universe, they largely like to live on heavily forested planets and will use fairy circles as quick transportation to jump from planet to planet that either they or other fairies have been too. They enjoy playing pranks on unsuspecting wanderers in their forests, often harmless pranks unless you have done something to upset or anger them, in which case they will use their full power to "prank" you for a final time literally. Stealth and speed is their key.

Leviathan are part Sea Dragon in their forms. They tend to specialize in weather on the seas.

Geniee is a class for the cabbit MUSES who develop sentience and evolve into their own Starling form.

Harlequin Starling have a harpy visage when they transform from their base elf. Their focus is fun, laughter, games and prizes!

:Tier 4 - DIVINITY ONLY- not open to public creation:

Celestrix class is actually shared by both Eris and Sire but it's a phoenix based class with Fire, Starfyre (plasma) and Emotions involved. They, themselves, can perform super novas and be reborn through their phoenix powers, but instead of starting all over, they're able to use their own ashes to cause even bigger fires.
Astrid is any Starling that has been deified by beings. They must be able to hear prayers in order to fulfill this role.
Kismet Starling specialize in divination and fate. Tarot cards are their primary focus.
Kirin a legendary class. This is a base class, not to be confused with the kirin race, this is a class where any starling can utilise the transformation abilities of a kirin to aid them in day to day life or combat. Depending on choice the kirin class can transform into either a Dragon, Unicorn or a Kirin. This class can be taught at the academy but takes a very special level of dedication and skill to truly learn and master (usually takes all of a starlings time at the academy to properly learn). To master this class you must master the special dances connected to the form of kirin you wish to embody. the varying forms of a kirin class dictate what abilities they carry: Dragons - specialists in combat and treasure finding, this form usually tends to come with great offensive capabilities or archeological discovery abilities! Unicorns - specialists in diplomacy, cataloging and ranged combat, this form usually broadens ones horizons and allows them to see planet wide issues with an unbiased perspective to allow for the best outcomes for all, they also specialise in ranged combat and are no push overs! they also love cataloging the worlds histories Kirin - specialists in close combat and guiding the troubled, this class is amazing up close and personal in a fight! not many walk away from a scrap with a kirin unharmed! they are also great counselors and guiding lights!
