When Aurora crashed through the Moon of Minastra and landed on the planet Eonid, no soul system or magic system was present.
What is a soul system? When a being dies, their soul goes somewhere or does something. On Eonid, there were only ghosts. Elves, animals, all ghosts that could haunt the living. However, the animal spirits chose to help the Elves develop their connection to nature's flora and fauna.
What is a magic system? A lot of known magic systems are element based, some are based on heavenly bodies, others are based on deities. On Eonid, the magic is considered Wild.
Or it Was.
During Aurora's travels, not only did she find her lost crew-mates that had been ejected during the crash, but assisted in different things involving both the lack of soul and magic systems. At the end of her journey, and because she becomes deified by the people there as the Goddess of Stars, she and 8 of her cohorts, become Pillars of both systems.
Aurora becomes the Pillar of the North. She ascends past the title of "Goddess of Stars" and becomes the Pillar of all elements under that node. This is: Stars, Crystals, Wishes and the Aurora she was named after.
